Our Team

John Nealon

Managing Director / Data Protection Officer

John is Managing Director of both M1 Document Solutions Ltd and Data Protection Training & Auditing Services Ltd. He is also Divisional Chairman of the Irish Security Industry Association and has been giving Data Protection Advice and Training Courses to Clients for the last 10 years.

John has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field of Data Protection and GDPR and is a member of NAID Europe. He completes regular training to ensure his knowledge is up to date and current.

John is a member of the ACOI (The Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland) and has completed the Level 9 Post Graduate Programme in Data Protection in UCD.

Jennifer Sheridan

Data Protection Officer / Compliance Officer

Jennifer is a Data Compliance Officer with the Company, and is a Member of the ACOI (The Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland) and the Institute of Bankers. Jennifer has 20 years experience in the Banking Sector and is very familiar with the importance and relevance of Data Protection. CPD Hours are completed annually to maintain accreditation. Jennifer liaises with the Clients on a regular basis to answer any queries and support them to become GDPR compliant.

Nigel Livingston

Information Security Officer / IT Manager

Nigel holds a Business Degree from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and has a background in IT and cybersecurity. After founding his own tech support business, he pursued industry-recognized certifications, including ISC2 and CompTIA accreditations and is a certified ISO 27001 Lead Implementer. In 2024, he joined Data Protection Service, where he applies his expertise in GDPR, data protection, and cybersecurity to help organisations strengthen their security and compliance frameworks. With experience spanning business management, IT, and cybersecurity, Nigel provides practical solutions to manage risks and safeguard sensitive data.

Peter O'Neill

Breach Specialist / Data Protection Officer

Peter has worked in Credit Union Management for 32 years. Peter holds a Diploma in Credit Union Studies from University College Cork and an Advanced Certificate in Credit Union Practice from University of Ulster. He was Head of Business Development at Croi Laighean Credit Union Limited and a Founder Member and Director of Co Kildare Money Advice and Budgeting Service.

Peter is an expert at assessing breaches and regularly performs any audits for our clients, supporting you to become GDPR compliant.

Fionnualla McKenna

Administration

Fionnualla has worked with the Company for a number of years and looks after the Sales. She ensures that you receive excellent customer service, and is always on hand to answer any queries you may have. Fionnualla’s background is primarily Sales and Marketing.
